MENOKEN, N.D. — Ever since its first batch of malt in 2016, Two Track Malting in Menoken has been doing things a little bit differently.

"About 20 years ago, (beer) was mostly just domestic, you know, Bud, Coors, Miller, etc.," CEO Jared Stober said. "Now you go into a restaurant or store, what have you, and you've got a ton of different options. Craft beer really experimented with flavors, really experimented on having something different, having something unique.

"And for us with craft malting, that's what we're doing as well, but we're just doing it on the ingredient side — giving those customers something unique, something special," he said.
