FERGUS FALLS — An Otter Tail County cannabis business is closing after the city denied its application to sell recreational products.
On Monday night, Oct. 6, the Fergus Falls City Council reviewed six recreational dispensary applications. Only two were approved, leaving Sugar High Cannabis, which has had a storefront since 2022, without a license.
Owner Emily McCune said she was surprised by the council’s decision and, after years of uncertainty, has decided to close the business.
