BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- "I have lost the most precious thing in my life, my miracle, my daughter who had just turned 12 years old," read a social media post from Ruslan Mukhtarov, the father of one of the teen girls killed while subway surfing in Brooklyn on Saturday.
Police and family members have identified Zemfira Mukhtarov, 12, and Ebba Morina, 13, as the two girls who died at the Marcy Ave/Broadway subway station in Williamsburg on Saturday.
"May the death of my kind, bright-hearted daughter be a warning to all," wrote Mukhtarov. "Follow what is going on in their world: in social networks, where temptations and risks hide, which we adults often do not even know."
