RONCEVERTE W.Va. (WVDN) – There wasn’t a whole lot going on at the Ronceverte City Council meeting on Monday, Oct. 6, as the meeting lasted just about 25 minutes.

Mayor Deena Pack began with the approved minutes from the Sept. 8 gathering, then the members moved on to some second readings of a couple of ordinances.

Ordinance 2025-05 deals with receiving citations for certain violations. Building officers have the right to issue a citation, but as discussed last month, the process would still go through the court system.

Ordinance 2025-06 added Chapter 5-15-11 “Disposition of City Property” of the City of Ronceverte Municipal Code. This allows the city to convey personal property. Any property above $25,000 would still require an auction process.

Both readings passed unanimously.
