In a AA West region matchup between the Watford City Wolves and the Minot North Sentinels, the Wolves welcomed the Sentinels to the Rough Rider Center Friday night. With both teams coming off road wins in their section openers last week, it was the Sentinels that kept their momentum rolling, walloping the Wolves 43-0.

The Sentinels received the opening kickoff, instantly leaning on their running game and quick tempo to keep the Wolves on their toes defensively. Throwing just one pass on a 10-play drive, the Sentinels were led by junior running back Cooper Chick as they marched down the field and into the Wolves redzone. A quarterback keeper by senior Brayden Blikre on 3rd and goal broke the scoreless tie and gave Minot North the 7-point advantage at the 8:18 mark of the first quarter. k
