Man fatally stabbed after entering wrong apartment in northwest Harris County, HCSO says

HOUSTON (KIAH) — A man was stabbed to death after he attempted to enter someone else’s apartment in northwest Harris County, authorities said.

Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at the apartment complex located at 8200 Sunbury Lane early Tuesday morning, where they found a man who was declared dead with a stab wound.

The preliminary information is that the man, who was allegedly intoxicated, entered the apartment of another family, and a person in the apartment stabbed the man.

Homicide detectives are on the scene and conducting an investigation.
