CLINTON COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) - The Mid-Michigan woman accused of driving through a group of pedestrians, leaving two people dead and more than a dozen others, will learn her fate Tuesday.

Ashley Monroe of Perrinton in Gratiot County will be sentenced Tuesday in Clinton County in connection with the May 18, 2024 crash along Waucosta Road.

News 10 will livestream Monroe’s sentencing in the player above, beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Authorities say Monroe, 36, who was pregnant and drunk at the time, plowed into a family walking along the side of the road.

The group was on their way to their grandmother’s home.
