JEFFERSON PARISH, La. —
The home of a New Orleans Saints player was burglarized last month, while he played in a game at the Superdome.
Police sources confirmed to WDSU Investigates that Cam Jordan was the victim of a home break-in and theft, which follows a pattern of similar incidents involving star athletes across the country. Advertisement
The burglary occurred on Sept. 14 in the old Metairie neighborhood where Jordan lives with his family.
Sources say two men broke into Jordan's home and stole several high-dollar items before fleeing.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office was contacted immediately, and an arrest was made within 48 hours.
Sources indicate the suspects were apprehended in Georgia.
