MUSKEGON, MI – Two friends were leaving a convenience store in Norton Shores when gunfire erupted at their vehicle in broad daylight.

The driver, 24-year-old Jamarr Burse, was hit by bullets and killed in the shooting. A 16-year-old passenger ran from Burse’s vehicle and to a nearby home seeking help.
