UPDATE: More students have joined the $35 million lawsuit against the University of the South for ignoring a mold issue in one of its female freshman dorms.

More current and former students have joined the new 67-page lawsuit.

The attorneys for the students say the contaminated freshman dormitory caused them to fall seriously ill, often dealing with things like random nosebleeds, fever and headaches.

The lawsuit says an independent test that found mold levels inside two dorm rooms were 2,200 times higher than levels found outside the room.

The university did nothing about the mold level until October of last year, according to the laws
