AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Young golfer Kipp Madison, of Evans, a former category winner at Drive, Chip and Putt, will be back again next year for the pre-Masters competition at Augusta National Golf Club.
He’s among 80 junior golfers representing 34 U.S. states and one Canadian province, who earned an invitation for the 12th annual Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals. The competition will be April 5 prior to the start of the 90th Masters Tournament.
At TPC Sawgrass, Kipp tallied 150 total points to return to Augusta National, having captured the Boys 12-13 National Champion title in 2024 – the first Augusta native to do so.
“I’m just excited to go down Magnolia Lane again,” he said.
