Joe Flacco is trading in his orange and brown for orange and black.

The Browns made a shocking move on Tuesday, Oct. 7 to t rade the veteran starting quarterback to the Cincinnati Bengals that included a swap of picks in the 2026 NFL draft.

Flacco started Week 1 of the season for the Browns against the Bengals in Cleveland. In theory, he could be starting for the Bengals against the Browns in Cincinnati later this season.

That's dependent on the health of Joe Burrow. The Bengals' franchise quarterback suffered a Grade 3 turf toe injury in Week 3 of the season that required surgery. Bengals coach Zac Taylor said Burrow could come back sometime this season .

If he doesn't, a Browns-Bengals matchup in Week 18 could see Flacco trying to avoid Myles Garrett and a ferocious Browns def
