CLEVELAND (WJW) -- The Cleveland Browns announced Tuesday they were sending QB Joe Flacco to the Bengals.
The trade was in exchange for a 2026 5th-round pick. The Browns also sent a 6th round pick to the Bengals as part of the deal.
Flacco, who started the first four games for the Browns this season, was benched last week heading into the London game against the Vikings after leading the Browns to a 1-3 record.
Dillon Gabriel replaced him as the starting quarterback. And the trade means the Browns' new backup quarterback will be Shedeur Sanders, who spoke exclusively to our John Sabol.
