DENVER (KDVR) -- Beaver Ranch Park in the unincorporated community of Conifer is currently closed due to a failure of the infrastructure beneath the main entry road.
Jefferson County Parks & Open Space said just before noon Tuesday that the "emergency closure" is being done to ensure visitor safety while crews assess the damage and plan repairs.
The agency is asking people to avoid the area while crews "work to address the issue & restore access."
Beaver Ranch Park can be primarily reached off US Highway 285 and includes the communities of Conifer and Aspen Park, as well as points west along the Highway 285 corridor, including the town of Bailey in the adjoining Park County.
Fox31 will update this story when access to Beaver Ranch Park is restored.
