A tax incentive package scheduled to be voted on by the Daphne City Council on Monday, Oct. 6, has been tabled while the Alabama Department of Transportation works on a few details of the contract.
During its regular meeting at Daphne City Hall, the council tabled a resolution that would, if passed, provide local sales and use tax exemptions on items purchased within Daphne or used on a project to build a new bridge on Interstate 10 between Mobile and the Eastern Shore.
