Spanish Fort kicks budget vote to November, raise employee salaries

The Spanish Fort City Council on Monday approved both a resolution to keep level funding through November and slightly raise city employee salaries.

The council on Monday night at the Spanish Fort Community Center voted on two separate resolutions related to the budget. The first was a resolution to keep the city’s current level of funding at least until Mayor-elect Brad Bass takes office and proposes a Fiscal Year 2026 budget to the City Council.
