VERMILLION, S.D. (KTIV) - As we gear up for the temperature change in seasons, tune-ups for area HVAC units are being done.

But one foster family in Vermillion, South Dakota, received a special phone call from a local company. One that will help foot the bill.

“It’s been a blessing,” said Mary Duncan. She is a single mom to four children under the age of ten, all of whom came under her care through foster care. In the last several years, she became their permanent home, adopting these children.

“I love children, and I love being around children. I was going to every single one of my nephews’ soccer games, watching Netflix, and like, I can do more,” explained Duncan. “I can do something better with my time and decided I’d just share my love when I could with anybody who needed it at that
