Feedback is wanted on the Arizona Department of Transportation’s El Mirage Road extension and widening project between Loop 303 and Jomax Road.

The public can comment at a virtual public hearing at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

The proposed improvements include the following:

A two-mile extension of El Mirage from Loop 303 and Jomax.

Constructing crossings over McMicken Wash and the Beardsley Canal.

Adding signalized intersections at El Mirage and Happy Valley roads.

Residents will have the chance to ask questions and provide comments on the Draft Environmental Assessment and Initial Design Concept Report, which will be the focus of the hearing.

Comments must be related to the draft EA or proposed project and will be capped at three minutes to ensure everyone has time to participate.
