The singer of a classic rock band will leave said band after giving a final performance this weekend.

According to People , Kelly Hansen — who has been the lead singer of Foreigner for about the last 20 years or so — is bidding adieu to the famed rock group come the end of their summer 2025 tour. Meaning his final show will be Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

“I’m trying not to use the word ‘retirement,’” told Hansen to the publication. “I don’t even know what that means.

“I’m not looking for future work. I’m so fortunate to be able to make that choice.”
