The Greenbelt, Maryland, police chief on Tuesday implored teenagers who have information about the slaying of a 14-year-boy over the weekend to come forward.
“We believe there were eyewitnesses,” Police Chief Richard Bowers said Tuesday about the drive-by shooting on Sunday. “They don’t want to viewed as a snitch.”
Bowers said providing information about the shooting is the right thing to do and will help prevent shootings in the future. He also would like the parents of those teens to persuade them to speak with investigators.
