DAKOTA CITY, Neb. (KTIV) - A South Sioux City, Nebraska, crash back in 2024 resulted in one woman’s death. The man charged with this fatal crash has now received his sentence.

On Tuesday, Oct. 7, Bradley Gatzemeyer was in Dakota County District Court, where he was sentenced for his two charges, motor vehicle homicide and driving under the influence with a passenger under 16.

For the motor vehicle homicide charge, he received 5-10 years, while for the driving under the influence charge, he received 9-10 months. Court documents show both sentences are to be served at the same time. He was also given 459 days of credit for time already served.
