A former social worker and sixth grade teacher charged with sex crimes against children in Atlantic County also committed similar offenses in Ocean County, authorities allege.
Darnell Williams, 34, of Manchester, is charged with two counts each of criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said Tuesday.
Williams inappropriately touched a girl in Manchester and Stafford between 2020 and 2023, prosecutors said.
“We suspected there may be additional victims, and unfortunately, we are finding this to be true,” Ocean County Prosecutor Brad Billhimer said in a statement.
Williams remains held in the Atlantic County jail.
His attorney couldn’t immediately be reached Tuesday.
Last month, officials in Ocean County charged Williams wi
