The Blue Springs Police Department has around 100 officers; its newest likes playful attention.
FOX4 caught up with K9 Beau and his handler, Lt. Brandon Claxton, with the Blue Springs Police Department’s Patrol Division, during K9 Beau’s first week on the job.
“He has spent the last year training in Texas,” Claxton said. “He’s currently our only Police K9.”
For Claxton, he’s a first time K9 handler.
Right now, the two are spending some quality bonding time together.
