RICHMOND, VA. (WAVY) — On Oct. 3, the Virginia State Police (VSP) announced that operations with both federal and local agencies recovered firearms, seized narcotics and U.S. currency, investigated human trafficking, and received gaming-related reported tips.

Every week, the VSP sends out a press release of uncovered crime throughout those 7 days. The week of Sept. 24 - Sept. 30 release highlighted the following:

Firearms • 39 recovered firearms, valued at $20,000

Narcotics • 304.5 pounds in total seized narcotics • Denied revenue from seized narcotics: $1,827,001 • Narcotics recovered: Cocaine: 4.4 pounds Crack Cocaine: 2.3 pounds Heroin: 2.4 pounds Psilocybin: 3.5 ounces Methamphetamine: 3.7 pounds Marijuana: 291 pounds Fentanyl: 7.1 ounces THC vapes: 10.05 pounds THC dab: 7.6
