VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Police arrested Suffolk native Larry Fulgham, 40, as part of a wider human trafficking sting over the summer and faces five charges in Virginia Beach, accused of using a hook-up website to prostitute a woman. Three detectives testified in court Friday morning at a preliminary hearing for Fulgham.

One told the judge he went undercover, posing as a client requesting sex, and on the hookup website, he messaged a profile that appeared to belong to the victim. She agreed to meet at a local hotel June 20, charging $500 for various sexual acts, according to his testimony, with the undercover detective meeting her in a hotel room while other detectives were in the parking lot outside.
