MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Throughout the month of October, the state of North Dakota is holding a challenge that is aimed at boosting financial literacy across the state.

North Dakota currently holds a C grade when it comes to financial literacy, but the Smart with my Money campaign is looking to change that.

One way it's doing that is with the Money Personality Challenge.

This challenge is encouraging North Dakotans to take a short quiz that will provide personalized finance recommendations based on their answers.

Lance Hill, the Leader of Education Outreach and Financial Literacy at Bank of North Dakota, said this initiative is an all hands on deck effort to get the message out to people of all ages.
