MINOT, ND (KXNET) — A man in Minot is now facing jail time for two felony cases after police say he stole a pickup and then robbed a woman.

The incident happened in May when police in Minot were told to look out for a stolen pickup. An officer soon spotted the grey pickup along 2nd Ave. SW.

Police say the driver refused to pull over and hit a parked car as he tried to get away. The two people inside then ran off before officers tackled and arrested the man, Shane Windham. Police also say Windham had swapped license plates on the pickup from another car.
