Toyota has issued a safety recall for a popular pickup truck and SUV model because of issues with the rearview camera.

Around 393,830 vehicles are affected by the recall, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration .

Documents filed with the highway safety agency stated that the main cause of the recall is a software error affecting the rear camera.

Because of the software error, the rearview camera might not display when the vehicle is put in reverse. This can increase the risk of a crash while reversing.

2022-2025 Toyota Tundra

2022-2025 Toyota Tundra Hybrid

2023-2025 Toyota Sequoia Hybrid
