Prosecutors in Atlantic and Ocean counties have charged a former Hamilton Township schools supervisor with sex assault and other crimes against four victims. Here's what we know so far:

Who is Darnell Williams?

Williams, 34, of Whiting in Manchester Township, was a supervisor in the Hamilton Township K-8 school district. Prior to that, he worked in the Stafford Township school district.

Hamilton schools Superintendent Jeffrey Zito said Williams was placed on administrative leave when the allegations first came to light before being terminated.

But that didn’t stop the Central Regional School District in Bayville, Ocean County, from approving Williams as a supervisor of pupil services during an Aug. 13 school board meeting.
