A 15-year-old girl is facing murder charges after police said she shot and killed her ex-boyfriend inside his Montgomery County home.

Police said they were called to a report of a shooting at about 5 p.m. Monday at a residence along Old York Road in Abington Township.

Once there they found Baseem Baker, 17, lying on a bedroom floor. He had died from a gunshot wound to the head,

Baker’s mother told investigators that she had left her son and Precious Hamilton, 15, of Crum Lynne, alone in the apartment that afternoon to run errands. Hamilton had been staying with them since the previous Friday.

When she came back at about 4:30 p.m. she found the door unlocked and discovered her son unresponsive.

According to 6ABC , surveillance video showed Hamilton leaving the building just before 3:3
