SANDY, Utah — Police in Sandy say two area schools had to be put into 'secure status' Wednesday morning as officials investigated a domestic incident in the area. The secure status at Albion Middle School and Quail Hollow Elementary are now lifted but police say a suspect is still at large.

The Sandy Police Department says that just prior to 8:00 a.m., officers were called to the area of 1800 East and Fall View Drive for the reported incident. What exactly the incident was police have not disclosed.

When officers arrived, they found two adults, a man and a woman, involved. Officers say that the man proceeded to ram another person's vehicle while fleeing the scene.
