The Brigden Fair looks good for 175.
The fall fair that began in 1850 when Brigden-area farmers first gathered to show their best cattle and horses has become a four-day Thanksgiving weekend tradition, drawing tens of thou sands to the small Lambton County community annually.

“I think it’s such a privilege that we can carry on the tradition . . . and still be a force in the agricultural world,” said Michelle Evanitski, president of the Moore Agricultural Society.
Brigden is the largest of the county’s fall fairs.
“Thanksgiving is Brigden Fair,” Evanitski said..
“We see so many of our patrons who come from far afield because they’re coming home,” for the long weekend, she said. “It’s that tradition that brings everybody back tog
