Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said a man tried to smuggle a thermos into the jail by having it inserted inside of him.

Walter Frymire, 51, was initially accused of being naked in a public park.

Judd said a deputy likely saved Frymire’s life by arresting him because he was taken to a hospital where a specialist removed the thermos.

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - A Florida man who is no stranger to the law wound up back in jail and the subject of one of Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd’s most unusual "Morning Briefings" due to how he tried to smuggle a thermos inside the jail.
