LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Sunday was a history-making night at the KFC Yum! Center. Comedian Nate Bargatze now holds the record for highest-attended comedy show in the 15-year history of the arena.
Bargatze, the comedian known for his deadpan delivery and storytelling, performed to approximately 19,000 fans and broke the previous record held by comedian Shane Gillis, who set the record two months ago.
“There’s no better way to celebrate our 15th anniversary than with nearly 19,000 fans laughing together under our roof,” said Eric Granger, general manager of the KFC Yum! Center. “The fans’ reaction to Nate Bargatze’s humor was incredible to witness. Nights like this remind us why live events are so special and how important these experiences are for our city.”
