DICKINSON — Shanice Curry, 40, of Dickinson was arrested Monday, Oct. 6, after allegedly threatening the life of an adult victim while holding a large knife, according to court documents.

Curry was charged with one count of terrorizing, a Class C felony under the North Dakota Century Code.

If convicted, she faces a mandatory minimum sentence of two years in prison under Section 12.1-32-01.1. Class C felonies carry a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

The case is being prosecuted by Amy Pikovsky of the Stark County State’s Attorney’s Office. Court documents do not indicate whether Curry has retained private counsel or been assigned a public defender.
