HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - The Madison County District Attorney's Office will host a news conference about the ongoing investigation into an incident at Deshler High School that left a student seriously injured.
The conference is set for 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
It's been six weeks since 15-year-old August Borden was severely injured on the campus of his high school and left with multiple skull fractures and little memory of what happened.
Following the incident, the Tuscumbia Police Department transferred the case to the Franklin County Juvenile Probation office and the Madison County DA's office.
TPD claimed they transferred the case because all of the subjects and witnesses, except the coaches, were under the age of 18.
