CADILLAC — A juvenile was taken into custody Tuesday evening after another juvenile was stabbed in Cadillac, according to the Cadillac Police Department.

Per an Oct 8 news release, officers were dispatched around 6:46 p.m. Oct. 7 to the 600 block of East North Street for reports of a large group of juveniles in the area. When officers arrived, they found one male juvenile who had suffered stab wounds.

The victim was transported by MMR for medical treatment. Witnesses told police another male juvenile stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene on foot. The suspect was later taken into custody and turned over to Wexford County Probate Court.
