LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Students for Justice in Palestine at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln reclaimed space outside of the Nebraska Union Wednesday, to raise awareness of Israel’s genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
Tuesday marked the two year anniversary of the Oct. 7 attack, beginning an ongoing conflict in Gaza between Israel and Hamas. While peace talks are taking place right now, UNL students are still raising awareness around the dark anniversary.
Students for Justice in Palestine at UNL is hosting multiple learning events in the afternoon, such as a sing along, a guest speaker, and more; all in the name of educating more students.
