LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - For 15 years, Project Connect Lincoln has served as a “one-stop shop” for people in need, and that mission continued Wednesday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Organizers brought important services directly to the community.

In one day, people attending can get their hair cut, receive medical screenings, eat a free meal and find support through over 100 organizations in attendance.

Many people may not know where to go to get specific help, and this event allows them to talk with people from a variety of different organizations.

The goal of the project is to not only help people today but to provide them support beyond today and hopefully end homelessness in Lincoln.
