A popular brand of frozen spinach sold in retailers and grocery stores nationwide is being recalled because it may be contaminated with Listeria that could lead to serious or fatal infections, the Food and Drug Administration said in a release.
Minnesota-based Sno Pac foods recalled Del Mar organic frozen spinach sold in 35-pound bulk boxes, and Sno-Pac 10-ounce bags of organic frozen cut spinach, the release said. The frozen spinach was distributed nationwide in retail stores and through other distributors, the release said.
The impacted Del Mar products come in a 35-pound box with an expiration date of Jan. 7, 2027 lot codes 250107A, 250107B, 250107C, 250107D, 2501071, and 2501073.
