STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The New York City Housing Authority is making it easier for developers, general contractors and property managers to apply for projects that improve the lives of the hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers.

On Wednesday, NYCHA released a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to solicit partners for the Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program, which is the agency’s version of the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), a U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program created for housing authorities to access federal capital to improve developments and ensure their affordability.
