KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Missouri Lottery player in Ray County is celebrating after claiming the first $100,000 top prize on a "50X" scratchers ticket.

The winning ticket was bought at the Walmart Supercenter in Richmond, according to the Missouri Lottery.

The Missouri Lottery reports that since "50X" began on June 30, players have won over $8 million in prizes playing the $5 game.

Over $8.2 million remains in unclaimed prizes, including five more top prizes of $100,000, according to the Missouri Lottery. Five prizes of $20,000 also remain unclaimed.
