STAMFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Bridgeport woman was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Friday, Oct. 3, for arranging the transportation of minors to a hotel for the purpose of engaging in prostitution, dating back to 2020.

The investigation showed that 39-year-old Teresa Martinez arranged for three minors to be transported from Bridgeport to a hotel in Norwalk, one of whom was under the age of 16 at the time, according to the State of Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice.

One of the juveniles reported that Martinez arranged for payment of $200 in exchange for sexual services with another person. The minor would receive $100, and the other person involved would receive $100.
