PITTSBURGH, Pa. (BLACK AND GOLD NATION) - The Pittsburgh Steelers may get some key pieces back for their first AFC North game on Sunday against Cleveland. After missing some time, Joey Porter Jr. and Jaylen Warren were listed as full participants at practice on Wednesday.
Porter Jr. hasn't played since Week 1 due to a hamstring injury, but told reporters earlier this week that he's ready to make his return.
“I wanted to get back before the bye week just to get my little groove in,” Porter Jr. said on Monday. “For the greater good, I got some more time (to rest). So, yeah, we’re ready now.”
Warren missed the Minnesota game with a knee injury. After the win, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Warren had wanted to play in the game but was held out due to precaution.
