NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WPRI) — A Narragansett man was arrested last month after he reportedly threatened fishermen with a loaded firearm, according to authorities.

Bryan Machala, 42, has been charged with felony assault and battery, as well as possession of a large capacity feeding device and disorderly conduct.

Machala was taken into custody on Sept. 20 after officers were called to the coastline just behind his Cliff Drive home, according to a police report obtained by 12 News.

The officers were greeted by four men who were out on the rocks with fishing poles, who reported that Machala had been harassing them.
