FAR ROCKAWAY, Queens (PIX11) — Surveillance video obtained by PIX11 News shows the moment a missing 5-year-old was found in Queens.

The boy was found roaming unattended near a Far Rockaway laundromat on Tuesday night.

The video shows the boy running through and around the laundromat parking lot before a woman saw the child and walked over to him. The 5-year-old did not have shoes on.

The woman escorted the child inside, which is when authorities were notified that he'd been found safe and unharmed.

The child's mother, Leshea Harris, was arrested Monday in connection with a Brooklyn robbery while her son was missing. Harris has been accused of charges related to the robbery and her child's disappearance.
