Boil advisory for Sibley Water System in Webster Parish

SIBLEY, La. -- The Sibley Water System is experiencing problems with its water supply system so a boil advisory has been put in place temporarily for part of the town.

Town leaders said the water produced by the water supply system is of questionable microbiological quality.

The boil advisory is in place for the area south of Sibley Town Hall effective immediately.

Customers will be notified once samples collected by the state health department indicate the water supply is safe.
