Sunshine and 70s, it's a great fall combination, and it's exactly what we found today. We'll tack on another day like today before we get back to our warm ways this weekend.
For tonight, look for bright moonglow and cool temperatures. A developing warm front to the west will likely lead to some morning clouds west of Hwy. 65.
The clouds will thin later in the day with another mostly sunny and mild day expected.
A similar pattern will unfold on Friday morning, but some showers will accompany the clouds. The risk of showers will be weighted toward the morning hours, with rain most likely north of I-44. Afternoon highs will creep higher, but will probably be muted a little by partly sunny skies.
A warm and quiet weekend will follow, with Sunday shaping up to have more of a late summer fee
