SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The No. 5-ranked Junction Eagles were scheduled to open District 14-2A Division II play at home against Center Point on Friday, but the Pirates had to forfeit the game due to a limited number of players.

That means Junction gets a 2-0 forfeit win, and the Eagles will have a two-week gap in the schedule before opening district on the road against Brackett on Friday, Oct. 17.

The Center Point game was designated as homecoming for Junction, but homecoming has now been moved to Oct. 24 against D'Hanis.

Junction is now 6-0 on the season. The Eagles had an off week last week.
