WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The spirits of New England's past are stirring once again as Storrowtown Village Museum welcomes back its popular Ghost Tours this Thursday to kick off the Halloween season.
The tours, held every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in October, invite guests to explore the Village's storied buildings and uncover the eerie legends that have lingered for generations.
Tickets can be purchased in advance. Each self-guided tour lasts between 90 minutes and two hours, leading visitors through the museum’s collection of 18th- and 19th-century structures, where ghostly happenings have long been reported, from jiggling doorknobs to phantom footsteps echoing through empty halls.
October 9 will mark Family Night, offering a special lantern-making activity before the tour. Partici
